Dear all,

         I was looking at the October issue and thinking about all the interesting things that could have been included but were not. It occurred to me that by having a monthly newspaper, we miss a lot of key events. Somehow our timing is always just a bit off. For September missed the budget cut and the Olympians (we made up with the supplements) and for October we weren't able to have the articles on the textbook shortage and the changes being applied to Chemistry and Physics classrooms this year.  So I thought there must be a different way, a better way, to communicate more efficiently. Since our website is under heavy construction, I decided to run a xanga site instead.

        This xanga site is open for all Standard members to post on. We can use this to share news. The password has been sent to the yahoogroup. If you would like to post, sign in, post, and sign your name. Please do that so everyone know who is actually talking. Please honor the freedom I'm giving you.

Let's see if we can get anything interesting on here.
